NEW TRIP ALERT: Women's Intro to Ice Climbing JAN 2025🧊⛏️🧗‍♀️ — Limited Availability!

Hey Reader, let's climb some ice! 🧊⛏️🧗‍♀️

Last season, many of you said I planned the trip too last-minute which I definitely did, so this season I'm planning ahead... 83 days ahead to be exact.

Tiff here — I am beyond excited to launch my third Women's Intro to Ice Climbing Trip in Ouray, Colorado, aka the Switzerland of America, on January 17-20 2025. Let's start the year with a new experience and an epic adventure in this magical town.

Full trip details here.

🧗‍♀️

Maybe you saw my recent IG story where I share my male climbing partner no longer wants to be friends because of unrequited feelings and I'm looking to build out strong women climbing partnerships.

⛏️

Maybe you saw the group trips from last season and want to join in on the fun this year.

🧊

Maybe you simply want to learn to climb ice in an empowering space surrounded by like-minded women and no judgement.

Whatever the reason, I'm glad you're here Reader :)

2024

As some of you may know, I hosted two of these women's trips last winter and had such a blast doing it. All the women on my trips had never climbed ice before (except one, and another was a return client), and they all did better than my first time climbing ice four years ago!

We climbed, we ate, we drank, we talked, we laughed, we rolled out, we soaked... we bonded. I have since taken some of them on their first backpacking trips this summer and larger off-the-grid adventures in the backcountry. These experiences have truly laid a strong foundation for lasting friendships.

2025

This upcoming year (Winter 2024-2025), I'm looking forward to the new friendships to be made and helping you experience something I love—the wonderful world of vertical climbing in the winter.

I have a lot of exciting things planned such as a The North Face professional athlete guest guide, some goodies, and am really stoked to share this experience with you all again.

This opportunity is for women who are new to ice climbing and want to learn, beginners that want to get more practice and learn from female experts, and women looking to connect with a like-minded community and maybe make some winter climbing friends!

Date: January 17-20, 2025

Location: Ouray, Colorado

Cost: $1,500 USD

Experience level: none

Group size is limited to the first 10 women who register.

I knew nothing about ice climbing and was slightly hesitant. However, from the moment I got there, Tiff was encouraging, helpful and most of all inspiring. We learned so much in a short amount of time and quickly had a blast.
I felt challenged, inspired and relaxed after the weekend and cannot recommend it enough!

Hey Reader! Fall is here, and the first hints of color are showing in the high country. Colorado’s peak hasn’t hit yet, but it’s expected earlier than usual this year—so now’s the time to start watching your favorite spots and planning your leaf-peeping road trip. 🍁 Colorado: The northern part of the state turns first, and a few trees in Rocky Mountain National Park are already changing. Peak is still a ways off, but lower elevations will follow in the next couple of weeks. Here's your...

Hey Reader! If you haven't noticed by now, I'm a sucker for a turquoise lake hike—but it's even better when it's surrounded by colorful mountains. That’s exactly what you get at Lake Chihuahua, an underrated yet stunning alpine lake tucked away in Colorado’s high country, less than 2 hours from Denver. I didn’t include it in my “Best Turquoise Lakes” previous roundup—not because it didn’t earn a spot, but because it amazed me so much that I felt deserved its own feature. This trail has: ✅...

Hey Reader! Hope your 4th of July weekend was as awesome as a perfect summit view! Summer’s just getting started, and it’s definitely not too late to plan those hiking trips — even if you haven't snagged any permits yet. Exciting news to share! I’m officially opening up my calendar this July for something I’ve tested and loved in the past: 30-minute trip planning consultations. These are quick, no-fuss, one-on-one calls designed to give you personalized, expert advice on your hiking or...
